About Me

Clinical Experiences and Approach

Originally from Baltimore, MD, I made Aliyah in July of 2023. I completed my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2019. I have a background in treating depression, anxiety, trauma related disorders, and eating disorders/body image concerns. I enjoy working with individuals 14+ of all genders to make positive change in their lives. I utilize a combination of evidence based therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness) while focusing on building a strong therapeutic alliance and centering the needs and autonomy of individuals as they work towards their personal goals. â€‹
 

If you're new to therapy, you may be wondering how it works or why it can be helpful. Research shows that one of the biggest predictors of positive change from therapy is the relationship you build with your therapist. Finding someone who is a good fit for you can help you increase your willingness to dive in and explore topics that are difficult.

 

The initial stage of therapy will look like understanding what your goals are and building that bond with your therapist. Next, we'll work on understanding the emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that impact your symptoms and work on skills to help you manage these experiences more effectively. Everyone's path to healing is different, and it will take time to understand and engage with the methods that will support you best.
